Glucose tolerance test

During previous visit to my gynae, I'm ordered to do a glucose tolerance test to check whether I'm suffer from gestational diabetes.

Well, I optioned not to wait until next visit to Dr. Diva to take the glucose tolerance test. Hubby drove me to his clinic to get the blood test form and we went BPLab the next day for the test.

Let me get some explanation about the glucose tolerance test for the Internet:

Most healthcare practitioners routinely recommend a glucose screening test (also called a glucose challenge test or GCT) between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy to check for gestational diabetes, a high blood sugar condition that some women get during pregnancy.

What is gestational diabetes?

Gestational diabetes (or gestational diabetes mellitus, GDM) is a condition in which women without previously diagnosed diabetes exhibit high blood glucose levels during pregnancy (especially during third trimester). It is widely accepted as a disease only in the United States; there is some question whether the condition is natural during pregnancy. Gestational diabetes is caused when the body of a pregnant woman does not secrete enough insulin required during pregnancy, leading to increased blood sugar levels.

Gestational diabetes generally has few symptoms and it is most commonly diagnosed by screening during pregnancy. Diagnostic tests detect inappropriately high levels of glucose in blood samples. Gestational diabetes affects 3-10% of pregnancies, depending on the population studied, so may be a natural phenomenon.

As with diabetes mellitus in pregnancy in general, babies born to mothers with gestational diabetes are typically at increased risk of problems such as being large for gestational age (which may lead to delivery complications), low blood sugar, and jaundice. Gestational diabetes is a treatable condition and women who have adequate control of glucose levels can effectively decrease these risks.

Women with gestational diabetes are at increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes mellitus (or, very rarely, latent autoimmune diabetes or Type 1) after pregnancy, as well as having a higher incidence of pre-eclampsia and Caesarean section; their offspring are prone to developing childhood obesity, with type 2 diabetes later in life. Most patients are treated only with diet modification and moderate exercise, but some take antidiabetic drugs, including insulin.

Women treated for gestational diabetes, generally have smaller birthweight babies, leading to other problems, such as survival rate of premature and early births, particularly male babies.

My report is out and I just got it from the lab.

Fasting blood glucose: 70 (Normal: < 100mg/dl)
1 hr PP blood glucose: 119 (Normal: < 200 mg/dl)
2 hr PP blood glucose: 61 (Normal: < 140 mg/dl)

Fasting urine glucose: Negative (Normal: Negative)
1 hr PP urine glucose: Negative (Normal: Negative)
2 hr PP urine glucose: Negative (Normal: Negative)

Haemoglobin (Hb): 12.4g/dl (M 12.5-17.5 F 11.5-15.5)

The report shows I'm not diagnosis with gestational diabetes!

The blood cord is out!

I almost forgot to blog about my 7th month check up. It fell on the date which marked my 7 month 1 week 2 days pregnant!

That's a good news to celebrate!

Everything's good - baby's blood cord no more around her neck and she had turned her lil head down for the time being. However, my weight shot up 4kg in 5 weeks time which my gynae was quite concern about - he kept telling me to control my diet! And since my father had diabetes, my weight shot up, and baby is a bit fat, I'm ordered to do a pregnancy diabetes test in the next visit! *Sigh*

Anyhow, hubby and I were at great joy knowing that the blood cord is out of baby's neck!

Cord around the neck

To date, I'm 6 months 2 days pregnant.

On today's appointment to Dr. Diva's clinic, hubby and I reached hospital by 6.55am, thinking that we could probably get the first or second number. However, there were 3 preggies ahead of us! So we queued at number 4.

Even we got number 4, we waited until 11am for our turn - doctor came in a bit late today.

This time around my weight gained is ok - 1.5kg only. The gynae was pleased with it. Same goes with the protein level in my urine.

Then, we proceed to the ultrasound scanning. My gynae again showed us my baby's heartbeat which beats at 143bpm, and her hands and feet. And he switched to 4d scanning, showing my baby covering her face with her little hand. Thus, we can't get any photo! She moves a lot before going into doctor's room, but she didn't make any movements during the scan. Does she knows we are scanning on her?

Overall, the gynae was satisfy on everything except that the cord is still around my baby's neck as what we seen last appointment. He opened up a screen which shows the blood flow of the cord, and told us the cord is loose around the neck, not to worry. And he said may be the cord will be eased when the baby's head turn down in my later pregnancy.

Later, a nurse handed me a paper and teach me how to jot down my baby's daily movements. She said I have to be aware if baby doesn't make much movements. If the baby doesn't move for a day, I have to go straight to the delivery department for a check-up.

I didn't really feel worry about the cord around the neck at first, but after the teaching from nurse, I started to feel worried!

4d ultrasound

Our girl @ 5 months 2 days

I have request for a print-out from the gynae after scanning. We could see clearly while scanning in 2d and 4d ultrasound, however the picture came out a bit blur. This is a 4d real time print-out.

There shows baby's hands, legs, body and face. She is sleeping during the scan. No movement!

I could see the 3 lines which confirm baby gender, thus it's confirmed my baby is a girl!

It's a girl!

On this visit to the gynae, the finally got to know the baby's gender.

The gynae spread some jelly on my tummy and started to scan. My baby's legs opened wide, and the gynae said "There's nothing between the legs." Which means, "It's a girl!"

Before the visit, all elderly guessed boy while the result came out girl. However, for hubby and me boy or girl doesn't matter. The gynae's ultrasound system is very high-tech where it shows very clear outcome, thus the probability of wrong gender prediction is very low. To confirm girl, the ultrasound should show 3 lines between the legs. This time around, we didn't see the 3 lines, so next appointment we should look out for the 3 lines to double confirm our baby's gender.

Other than that, the gynae also check out other features for the baby - everything was good and the baby weights 163gm. The gynae also counted all fingers and toes!

The gynae told us that our baby girl is very healthy!

I'm 4 months pregnant!

Wow! After 4 months of traditional chinese medicine treatment, and a trip to Bangkok, I am finally pregnant! I'll be reaching 4 months pregnancy within a few days.

I was very grateful to sensei to have treated me well with tcm. I believe I could conceive nicely this time around with the help of tcm. Without tcm, I wouldn't reach here. The sensei could tell that I'm pregnant when I was 3 weeks pregnant!!!

Nevertheless, it has been tough at the beginning of the pregnancy as I'm having the usual possibility of miscarriage. I was spotting and even bleed a bit in the first trimester and with my previous histories of miscarriage, it makes my possibility of miscarriage even higher.

I was given a shot to stop bleeding during the first visit to the gynae and withdrawing blood every few days to ensure the hcg level is doubling every 48 hours. Compared the first and second time hcg level, it wasn't good - not doubling. My gynae told me to rest and give it a chance.

Then comes the third blood test, not doubling as well! However, bb heartbeat appears on the screen during ultrasound and other facts shows good. *Relieve* The gynae was happy with it!

Backed at home, I continued with tcm combined with folid acid and Duphaston prescribe by gynae. And most importantly, I almost stay home for 2 months.

During my 3rd month's scan, my bb appears to be very active - moving its hands and legs. My gynae keep telling us, "It's a very healthy and active baby!".

4th month's appointment falls on the coming week, baby gender may shows! How excited!

Just back from the Chinese medicine practitioner shop. The doctor said I'm a bit better. Now that I'm backed with 3 packs of Chinese medicine and some tablets which are to be finished in a week's time.

Take a break

Since we are going for trips on April and May, we are going to have a break in between - to avoid ruining our trips with pregnancy and also skip the problem of giving birth during CNY.

We have paid a visit to a Chinese medicine practitioner (I'll call her as a doctor) last Sunday. The doctor is a women whom is recommended by a friend since a friend of her who is having the same problem as me had successfully carried a baby to full term twice with the help of the doctor. Without choice indeed, I have to go for a try!

According to the doctor, all my internal organs (心肝脾肺肾) are weak - all weak (全虚). Everything is running in a slow motion. It is rather hard for me to carry myself properly, don't think of carrying a baby! However, the doctor told us she had already helped many women like me, my advantage is to be able to come to her when I'm still young - 27.

I was given 2 packs of Chinese medicine and some tablets which are to be finished in 2 days! It gave me a shock hearing that all the medicine were to be finished within 2 days. Nevertheless, I've made it.

After taking the medicine, I felt extremely fatigue as if I haven't sleep for years. Thus I sleep a lot!

We went back on the 3rd day. The doctor again took hold of my hand to check the beating. Came back with an answer - too weak until not able to amend (虚不受保). *Sigh* Yet she claims that she is able to cure me. And she advices me not to think so much, just leave it to her.

This time around, we went home with 2 packs of Chinese medicine and some tablets which are to be finished in 4 days. Now, it has come to day 3. I'm still feeling fatigue but not as much as previous.

Okay, I'm going to make it through.

Another miscarriage

Okay, it was all over by this time.

The miscarriage happened on the 6th week into pregnancy. I had every symptom: fatigue, nausea, increase appetite, tender breast....... yet it ended up another miscarriage. Hubby and I had done our very best trying to prevent it to happen, but to no avail.

It's a natural miscarriage since I option not to take d&c. It took a month to complete the entire miscarriage. It didn't get me into painful cramp, just as a normal period with extra long time to end!

A whole new year just begins, everything will be fine and I'll be fine too! A new pregnancy will be on the way coming to me soon!

A check-up at the fertility centre

As mentioned earlier, hubby and I decided to make a trip to KL to the Tropicana Medical Centre to look for Dato' Dr Colin Lee - the well-known fertility consultant.

Before we travel to KL, I've made a booking of appointment through phone, and I was told that the doctor's appointment of that particular day was very full If I go on that day, I'll have to wait for some time before meeting the doctor. Since the doctor will be on leave soon, we have to wait!!!

We arrived at the Tropicana Medical Centre by 9am after breakfast. We've done registration immediately, and waited for 30 minutes before we were called into the consultation bay. A consultant were there to ask about our history and explain what the doctor may do to investigate our issue. The consultant was very friendly and detailed in every explanation.

Right after the consultation, we were sent to another part to do sperm test. Everything was done by 10am. We were to be back 2 hours later for the report and to meet the doctor for further consultation.

We went Ikea to have something to eat, walk around and then go back by 12.30pm.

Again we waited for 30 minutes.

Dr Colin had hubby's sperm test report in his hand and briefly told us that the result is normal. Then I was being scanned and told that my womb is okay too. (Their machine is really advanced compared to Ipoh's, I can see my womb very clearly, and it's very nice. LOL!) Without further discussion, Dr Colin set another appointment date for me, to do Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy and D&C. I tried to ask if we had other options but Dr Colin told me this is the only way to further investigate.

What is Laparoscopy?
Laparoscopy and advanced infertility specialist training in microsurgery have literally transformed the way many gynecologic and other surgical procedures are performed. The laparoscopy is usually accompanied by only minor discomfort. The laparoscope can be indispensable to the fertility evaluation because it allows the fertility specialist to view the reproductive organs. Many conditions such as endometriosis or pelvic adhesions can be treated during the laparoscopy.

What is Hysterocopy?
The hysteroscope is a small tubular “telescope” like device that is inserted through the vagina and into the uterus. The uterus is filled with carbon dioxide or another media such as sterile saline causing it to expand. The physician can often clearly visualize conditions such as fibroids, polyps, or congenital uterine abnormalities. If hysteroscopy is performed in an operating room, treatment can usually be performed at the same time (operative hysteroscopy).

What is D&C?
The gynaecologist opens (dilates) the cervix with instruments called dilators, and then inserts a hollow tube through the cervix. Suction is applied to remove the retained tissue.

Once walked out from the doctor's room, we discussed about it. Hubby decided not to go for that surgery. Though it was said to be a minor key-hole surgery, but we don't think we need to. May be it's just the timing, we will try on our own without any medication. Not until a year after this, I will consider having myself being cut!

We didn't wait for long throughout the consultant, can't understand why they told me doctor's schedule is full for the day! The total bill come out RM483 for the consultation and sperm test. Expensive huh? But at least we know, from the basic scanning and testing, we are okay. Keep on trying, we will have our child sooner or later! Gambateh!!!

2nd month of Clomid - Failed

2nd month of Clomid didn't bring us good news. But the side effects have been getting worse. I'm feeling hungry all the time, nausea, fatigue - never get enough of sleep!!!

During the previous trip to KL, my uncle's friend had recommend us to go Tropicana Medical Centre for Dato Dr Colin Lee whom is said to be the best doctor in this field.

Hubby and I agreed that we might as well find the best rather than getting a few different advices from various doctor. I wanted to make it fast, find the source of the problem and get the solution - straight to the point.

I've make an appointment through phone earlier, we will be going to KL for an initial check-up to see if we could do something to solve the problem. As if it isn't a big deal? LOL! I trusted that hubby and me won't have big issue with fertility, health wise, neither hubby nor me have problem. A detailed check-up may reveal our problem though.

Okay, will update the status after we come back from the consultant!

Going to the toilet

Most probably due to the side effect of Clomid, I can't remember started when that I needed to wake up every morning around 4am to the toilet.

Now at 5.30am, I'm wide-awake after going toilet. I'm here switching on the netbook to kill the time. We are in KL currently, staying at the One World Hotel. Hubby and my cousin are still sleeping.

Awaiting them to be awake! LOL!

Nowadays, we always hear people saying insurance. Many of the sale person introduce us life insurance too.

According to wikipedia:

Life insurance is a contract between the policy owner and the insurer, where the insurer agrees to pay a designated beneficiary a sum of money upon the occurrence of the insured individual's or individuals' death or other event, such as terminal illness or critical illness. In return, the policy owner agrees to pay a stipulated amount at regular intervals or in lump sums.

As a parent, a spouse, or an individual with intense familial and financial obligations, buying a good life insurance policy is one of the most important things you can do to uphold those responsibilities even if you pass on. Though it's a must to buy, we still need to find a better company which offers cheap life insurance quotes, family insurance coverage, whole term life, and life insurance plans!

Do some research before you make your decision!

Not a good news

First month of Clomid didn't bring us any good news but a bad experience for me.

I have to say that the side effects make me crazy!!! Throughout the month, I'm having tender breast until I needed a bra to sleep, painful ovulation, feeling sleepy all the time, feeling hungry all the time, pimples grow on my forehead (I seldom grows pimples!)

This is the first attempt though, I don't really know how long I can stand the side effects!!!

First month on Clomid

Months passed, and yet to have news.

Hubby took back some pills from our family doctor, which I searched on the Internet named Clomiphene Citrate, 50mg per tablet. The pills stood in our room since last month.

I started this pill from CD5-CD9 every night before bed.

What is Clomid? What to expect?

Clomiphene is usually taken in pill form for one five-day cycle a month. It helps you produce more of the hormones that trigger ovulation (follicle-stimulating hormones (FSH)), prompting your ovaries to produce one or more mature eggs, depending on how often you normally ovulate.

After you finish a cycle of clomiphene, your hypothalamus (the part of your brain that regulates basic functions such as temperature) releases luteinizing hormone (LH), which tells your ovaries to release your mature egg or eggs into your fallopian tubes. If an egg meets up with a healthy sperm on its way to your uterus, you'll have a chance to conceive.

The possible side effects of Clomid:

Fertility drugs can cause a wide range of minor side effects, including mild swelling of the ovaries, stomach pain, breast tenderness, insomnia, nausea and vomiting, blurred vision, headaches, fatigue, irritability, depression, weight gain, and, in rarer cases, ovarian cysts.

You'll also have a 10 percent chance of conceiving twins with these fertility drugs. (Women sometimes conceive triplets or more, but much less frequently.) Though many couples consider this a blessing, multiple fetuses increase your risk of miscarriage and other complications.

Finally, hubby and I been to ob-gyn for consultation.

The doctor do some scanning on my tummy, and tell me that everything are fine with me, he can see an egg is there too! I'm so relief getting know that I have nothing wrong, I'm so worried that my ovary is having problem due to the last d&c. Thank God!

I'm given an injection and hubby will be eating a tablet each day for 3 months. If nothing happened again, we will have to go back for another consultation!

Finger crossed. Something will happened. Pray hard!

Seek for help

Well, after a whole year of trying after the miscarriage in May 2009, we still couldn't get anything from our hardwork!

So I had come to a conclusion that we truly need professional advices. I've been to Chinese Sifu, boiled and drank the bitter Chinese medicine, but yet to be effective. This time, I'll have to find a doctor's advice.

I'd try to avoid a visit to the doctor as much as possible, since the fee will be probably high or may be sky-high. But I have no other choice, the only way we got is to seek help from them.

Now, I'll pull hubby's belt tight, save some $$ for professional advice.

Hit by dizzy spells

It is probably due to the sleep deprived for almost a week, I'm now down with dizzy spells.

I tried to take a nap in the morning, but woke up with the urge of urination after an hour. Then hubby brought me for lunch. Around 3pm, I take another nap which is most amazing that I also woke up with the urge of urination after an hour.

I didn't take that much of water, why I woke up twice from nap to the toilet???

Anyway, I'm still in dizziness!

Why it takes such a long time?

Yup, this is the question floating in my mind.

I was wondering, why it takes so long to have a proper sperm meet up with a normal ovum? May be hubby's sperms are weak? Or my ovary somehow happen to be weak?

No idea.

Anyway, hubby and I will be going to Hong Kong with my FIL & MIL next month. We will continue trying after we come back from Hong Kong.

Don't bother so much, I'll eat what I like and drink what I want! After such a long time, avoiding cold drinks and foods, I need a break!!!

Another disappointment

I was spotting yesterday, and menstrual starts this morning.

Thus, another early miscarriage is confirmed. Erm... may be it's something called chemical pregnancy. Whatever it's named!

I'm frustrated, disappointed, sad......

Though I had been prepared for the worst since we came back from the gyn, still it hurts!

Pregnant???

I have been getting faint positive since 26.11.09 - 2 days before period dues. A total of 4 tests were done every other morning all resulting faint positives.

Aren't you happy for me? After trying for few months, finally, getting a positive (faint positive), hubby and I had been overwhelmed with the news for the past few days.

It is only 2 days past my period due, but since it's been a real nightmare for me having a D&C for the past miscarriage, we decide to visit the gyn earlier, just in case.

However, the visit to the gyn made me worried! Nothing appeared in ultrasound (Ok, we couldn't expect anything for 4 weeks pregnant), no double line showed in the test given in clinic (Ok, since it's still early, second urine may not have enough HCG to trigger the lines).

Thus, a blood test for Beta HCG is required to confirm pregnancy. We return to get the report by noon. The result is 18.8mIU/mL. The gyn seems a bit uncertain about my pregnancy, and I'm appointed to be back a week later (7.12.09).

18.8mIU/mL is really very low. It can't be able to trigger any lines for a 20mIU/mL test (which is suppose to be the most sensitive test in the market). Then how come I could have 4 cheapie tests getting faint positive??? Is it a symptom leading to a miscarriage???

Keeping your finger crossed for me! Pray hard that no more miscarriage.

Spotting at 11 dpo

I'm having some spotting yesterday @ 11dpo. As of today, no more spotting! I have been waking up around 4am everyday for 2 weeks and some cramping on 8dpo - 10dpo.

It's 4 days before period due, so hopefully this is implantation bleeding, not early menstrual!

Basal body temperature charting

Until now, it has been 6 months past D&C. Hubby and I had been trying since 3 months past D&C. No luck though.

Being a desperate wife, I search for tips to get pregnant faster. lol! You know? That's getting more and more people offering my mother in-law on how to get pregnant! One of them suggest to avoid cold drinks and eat "bak foong yun" after menstrual for 7 days. One told me to eat "Eu Yan Sang bak foong yun". And one told me to go for a gyn. *sigh*

Pressure coming from all around!!!

So I bought a basal thermometer and started my charting from the beginning of this cycle. Through charting our basal body temperature (BBT), we could know our body better and recognize our signs of ovulation. BBT is your body temperature at rest (wake up time). BBT before ovulation is at a lower range while BBT stays in the higher range throughout the luteal (post-ovulation) phase until the next cycle begins. BBT stays high if there is a pregnancy.

Hopefully through this charting method I'll conceive soon enough.

Hope of the month gone

It's another hope gone! But still I'm feeling dizzy all the time though the rashes are going off and I still woke up 5am this morning!

Seems like I need to go for the doctor, but what to tell him? I suppose he'll asks me to drink more water and sleep more. No cure! So I decided NOT to visit the doctor, let it be! I blame the weather and the surrounding air, they could simply change from extreme hot air to heavy rain!

What to do? Nothing could do!

Good thing about this hope gone is that I could go for the concert on 12th Sept without too much fear as pregnant women are prone to have high chances of getting A(H1N1). But I'll buy N95 before going for the concert also! Scared to die!!!

Sleepless nights

I had been experiencing sleepless nights starting last week. I could woke up around 4am for nothing! Yup, it's indeed no reason for waking up. I'm not thirsty, no urge for the toilet, not too cold.

After the woke at around 4am, I'm no longer able to go back to sleep. I'll have to stay awake until the daylight shows.

Why???

Skin problem arised again!

Rashes again! This time they appeared at my wrists and hands. I'm feeling annoyed by the itchiness, making me acting like a monkey!

Anyhow, I must wait until I confirm preggy or not before going for the skin specialist for the problem. That means I have to tolerate with the itchiness until end of the month. OMG, it's a hard time for me! I can only use ice cubes for temporary relieve of the itchiness. *pity me*

Time flies... why not now?

Feeling unwell

Starting from the beginning of this week, I'm always stay upstairs spending most of my time in shop SLEEPING!

I'm not the kind of people whom like sleeping that much but my head seems don't allow me to stay up right, lying down somehow makes me feel better.

There are few more symptoms which make me suspect that I'm pregnant but too soon indeed! Not until 27th July that my period due. No no no, I must be thinking too much. But I do hope I'm pregnant.

Okay, I'll wait to see how is it going on - pregnant or not???

Gaining weight!!!

Why am I keep putting on weight without consuming extra food???

The possible reason:

Genes. An underlying tendency to obesity may be the result of our genes. People who generally have little problem controlling their weight seem to have a precisely tuned appetite.
Physical inactivity.People who lead a physically active life are less likely to gain weight than those who spend most of their day sitting in front of a computer or TV, or in the car.

The "genes" matters, I can't do anything about it! My mum and grandma are having the same problem too, putting on weight from bottom! No cure!!!

For the second reason, physical inactivity. I'll go jogging early in the morning once the haze issue settled. Inhaling too much haze while jogging wouldn't do you any good, right?

I'm having another menses 2 weeks after the first day of last menses! That means 1 week after I cleared the last period, I'm getting another period! OMG!

Wow, first menses after d&c is much much more painful than previous menses!

This menses comes with a lot of cramping that last for more than 4 days. I've been exhausted by the pain since I refused to take pain killer!

What a miserable menses I'm having? And still it is ON! When is it going to give me a halt?

First month after d&c

It has been a month since the d&c treatment - a nightmare for me. Thanks god, I'm now healthily recovered!

Two months to go before trying to conceive again. I'm counting down again!

Hubby and I showed ourselves in the clinic on Monday morning to get the report from doctor.

The report says that:

Hubby and I went to the doctor in Hospital Fatimah on Monday morning. The doctor got my blood test report and according to him, my H.C.G. rating very high. And it makes the possibility molar pregnancy very high also. After another ultrasound, he made an appointment with me to do d&c on the next day morning.

Then we went to the other doctor in Ipoh Specialist Hospital According to him, the sac for the baby is getting smaller, and the tech said "it's collapsed!". So he recommend an immediate d&c section for me. But when we ask about molar pregnancy, he said the posibility was small.

And so I was admitted to the hospital on 10.30am. Since I've had some food in the morning, I need to wait until 2.00pm for the d&c. Hubby was there with me until 2.00pm, the nurses came to change my clothes and pushed me into the operation room. Not until 2.45pm that the doctor came to start the d&c.

The operation run until 4.00pm. I'm back into the room after that, and the doctor came an hour after. I was so anxious to know whether it was a molar pregnancy, the doctor said it didn't seen as a molar pregnancy since no "grape" thing came out, but we'll have to wait for the biopsy report to know the exact answer.

We went off back to our home on 6.30pm without much pain, but a little dizzy.

I'M STILL WORRYING ABOUT THE MOLAR PREGNANCY! We'll have to wait until the next Monday for the result!!!

I'm backed from another doctor!

Now, relax a bit!!!

I was brought into a room for ultrasound checking by the nurse whom also claim "Irregular!", I then asked to urine to a cup, following by the call into the doctor's room.

After some checking by the doctor, while hubby and my mother in law waiting behind the curtain, the doctor gave an answer which was to my relief not as serious as describe by the previous doctor.

Doctor said I have now fifty fifty on pregnancy as I am bleeding and no fetus heart beat. An injection is given. As I am not working, I am needed to rest more and an appointment is given dated next week.

I asked the doctor, regarding those "grape" pregnancy I was told earlier. Doctor said there has the possibility but only 1% to 2%.

But still, if I miscarriage this time, a d&c need to be done to ensure all remaining is cleared. This is to ensure the coming pregnancy's smoothness.

I hope my baby could be bless surviving in the fifty fifty percent of chance.

I woke up at 3.30am this morning, found my underwear is wet with brownish discharge. And when wipe with tissues, show bright red blood!

So hubby and I go to the doctor early in the morning. The doctor see via ultrasound, confirm can still see the small black dot but beside the dot there are something unknown which was swelling and looks like cloud, could be a possible "grape" pregnancy - molar pregnancy. The doctor even call his nurse to invite the doctor opposite their clinic to come over. And the doctor is giving the same idea, but he said he had seen such case which already safely delivered the baby.

But my doctor keep repeating "this is very unusual", "doesn't look good"!!!

I'm really worry. I'm going to consult another doctor later, hopefully I'll hear something good. Wish me luck!

A tiny black dot or may be two?

Hubby and I just went to the doctor for check up.

The doctor scanned my stomach again. Now, this time we can see a tiny black dot located at the middle of my uterus. The doctor scanned for a few times, in one of the scans, the doctor says he sees two dot. Two dot??? That means I'm carrying a twins??? But when he scanned again, it went back to see only one dot!

The doctor said it is still not steady, and it is a bit small for my weeks. He gave me 10 tablets of Utrogestan and told me to continue having Folid Acid.

I'm given another appointment on 18.05.09. Hopefully by that time, my baby will already been staying nicely within my uterus!

Yes, I'm pregnant! I've took the test yesterday, two lines!!!

Hubby and I go to the doctor this morning. The doctor scanned but see nothing. I took another urine test in the clinic, getting a positive result. So we've make an appointment in 10 more days.

It is now 4 days past my period due, I'm again anxious waiting for the answer. I don't want any more early disappointment, so I won't do the test until a week past my period due.

Hopefully this is going to be a good news for me!

After having lunch with my friends in McDonald's, I rush back and switch on my computer!

Wow, I manage to grab 3 opportunities to write.

Still I'm wondering whether to quit or stay for my current, I'm not anymore happy working there since I get to know that my boss doesn't think that I'm really doing my jobs well. He thought that I'm doing nothing in the office!

I hurt a lot getting to know that I don't worth a penny in my boss mind!

Problem again

I cannot sleep well for nearly 2 week already! I used to sleep until morning, but now I'm waking up few times in the middle of the night! I can't understand why.

These few days, my skin problem get worst, rashes appeared all around my neck and face. I had to wait till I got my period before I go for a doctor since the doctor's giving me very mild cream if I'm preparing to be pregnant.

So I'll be rushing to the doctor once I get my period!

A miscarriage

You are right! I dropped it! I really have dropped my baby!

I have a miscarriage. I felt really sad after I got know about this. I'm very disappointed.

After a stomachache on one afternoon, I do feel that the pregnancy symptoms are fading. I just keep myself assured that I wouldn't be that unlucky, I'm usually healthy without much sickness. But too bad, I'm really that unlucky!

I'm getting my real period today, which is now confirm a miscarriage. I went to the doctor, but he said I've not yet pregnant! He said I was just too anxious to have a baby! Then why did the pregnancy test shows positive? Why?

I just came back from a clinic. It has been 6 days past my period due, so I think it's time for me to go for a check up.

But the doctor says he can scan nothing! Nothing?

Then he asked the nurse to give me a plastic container for urine. I personally think that he wouldn't be able to get two line with the urine I gave him, I drank so much water! The urine is surely very diluted!

As what I think, there is only one line appeared. *sad*

The doctor asked me to go back on 24.12.08, "IF YOUR PERIOD STILL HAVEN'T COME!!!"

Implantation bleeding?

Starting from the 02.12.08 until now, I'm having a "mini period"! It's something I've never had before.

I've search through the internet, which give me a hint that it may be called implantation bleeding. It says that it's one of the normal symptom for early pregnancy.

When I took a pregnancy test this morning, I could see one clear red line and one very very very faint pink line. I doubt what it means! It's only a day from my period due. May be I tested too early. I'm still very excited to find out pregnant or not pregnant?

Anyway, I'll try to take another test in few more days.

Trying to conceive from November

Okay, this will be the first post to this blog. This blog is prepared specially for my coming baby. Hubby and I were planning for this pregnancy for few months.

I've finished the last injection of Hepatitis B on the 5th of this month. And we are going to Australia on April 2009. So if I got pregnant this month, that'll be perfect. If let's say, I'm so lucky to get it done by this month, by the time hubby and I go Australia, I'll be 6 month's pregnant. I think it should be okay.
